On May 2, 2024, the Nieman Lab published a feature on the Pulitzer Center’s newly launched AI Spotlight Series. The webinar series will train 1,000 journalists to report on artificial intelligence (AI) accountability over the next two years.

The Nieman Journalism Lab, part of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard, aims to promote and elevate the standards of journalism.

Pulitzer Center Executive Editor Marina Walker Guevara commented on the Nieman Lab feature:

“As part of our ‘full model,’ we see the AI Spotlight Series program under ‘game-changing resources,’ with the goal that it will spark and inspire great journalism in our focus regions; those journalists and stories will then go on to create a more robust and diverse basis for our engagement work.”
